"I used to have a bike in the province of Quebec.  When I moved back to Ottawa in 2008, I gave my bike away because I wanted to be alive to run in this city election.  I know how dangerous it is to bike in Ottawa.  I am happy to know that someone helps improve biking in the city.  At the same time, I am just a candidate.  I will like to meet with you when I get elected.  Remember, council has more than one vote.  I would love to see your draws of the things that could be possible.  Draw what you would like to see done as your number one priority spending project.  Remember, Rome was not created in one day.  Draw the number one priority you will like to see happening.  Tell me how much do you think it will cost.  I will present your vision to council on my first year in office.  I am sure that Jim Watson and council will support a well balance budgetary plan.  

By the way, I will be supporting an outdoors transportation system.  The tunnel will be too expensive for taxpayers.  It will ruin businesses in the down town area.  I will protect the down town core with my vote!"
