The National Capital Commission is considering whether to remove its ban on electric power-assisted bicycles on its multi-use pathways. It's holding two public meetings on the issue:

CfSC is currently debating a draft policy that supports treating eBikes identically to other bicycles (as is done in the Highway Traffic Act), and is looking for input from members. The CfSC Board will discuss the issue again at its May 19 board meeting.
