The segregated bike lanes on Laurier Avenue West will open on Sunday, July 10.

Opening ceremonies will occur between 12:45 and 1 p.m. at the corner of Laurier Avenue and Metcalfe Street (near the Main Library). Speeches by the Mayor and the Chair of the Transportation Committee will be followed by an official ribbon-cutting.

Then all cyclists are invited to take part in the inaugural group ride. Dress code is casual (but be weather-appropriate): spandex is not required.
